I don't know how I haven't seen this movie until last night. It was fabulous! 

When it first started I was afraid of what was going to come.. mostly when the green fairy came out and they all started singing modern songs when the film was supposed to be in 1900  (but to be fair I had just watched "Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas & that movie was just insane, and didn't want to sit through more  of that kind of movie!)

Anyway once it got to the part when they were in the Moulin Rouge I was hooked. What an amazing movie!
