Justin's Mission Call!

Justin opened his mission call last night! He is going to the Lansing, Michigan Mission! He leaves for the MTC on Feb. 2 2011. He is going to freeze his butt off up there. haha but our friend Todd Baldwin went to the same Mission & he was there last night when he opened it.. how exciting!
Justing will be such a great missionary!

It's concert time!

Well Lindsay, Brittney and I went to see a pretty sweet concert a few days ago. It was Auburn, Iyaz, and B.o.B and Jason derulo! I wont lie to you.. it was pretty sweet!!

Well I moved all the way from orem to provo.. big move eh? well im not so sure about it yet.. im really hoping it grows on me! I'll let ya'll know though:)
However, I do have internet now & that parts amazing.
My family freaking rocks for helping me so much with this move. LOVE you all.

California Baby!

I went on the good old fam vacay to Cali a few weeks ago. It was SO nice to get away from work.. and life. We did Sea World, DISNEY, Hollywood, the beach, shopping, and it was pretty much sweet!

Long time, no update..

Well Im at my new apartment and Im LOVING IT. One of the downsides though is no internet.. so posting might be scarce until I break down and get it for my apartment:) Im still alive though.. in case anyone was worried.

27 days!

My all time favorite person gets home in only 27 days! I cant pretend that I'm not stoked! Hello I havent seen him for 2 freaking years!! Germany has been lucky enough to have him for that long, but now he's coming home. CANT WAIT. See you soon Johnny!

Hunger Games...

Ok so I swear everyone and their dog have read this book and I've only heard good things about it. So when I finially got it I was afraid that the bar had been set too high and that I would be disapointed. Luckily I wasn't, it was even better than I hoped!
I read both of them in like 3 days.. needless to say I couldn't put it down.
5 stars:)

The last one comes out in August and I cant wait!

Spring Break Baby!

Spring break = heaven.
I loved having a week off work:) I will regret it next week when im BROKE!! Oh well I'll worry about it then.
These last two weeks I stayed up in West Jordan and "babysat" a cute litte kitty and a cute big dog! It was fun! I loved staying there just hanging out for 2 weeks.

I also went to GA to visit some fam. Saw my dad & Heidi, also my little sister Morganne and little bro Owen, also my grandpa. It had been a few years so it was good to catch up!
My grandma had sent over a few books for me.. including Hunger Games. Im LOVING IT!! Pretty much I want to stop writting just so I can read it:)

Festival of Colors

Yesterday I went to the Festival of Colors with Halee, Mikenna and her friend Madi. I have never been before.. and it was pretty awesome. We parked about 2-3 miles away from the temple where they do the festival, so we got some good exercise walking there and back. But it was worth it. There was a minute during the color explosion when I thought I was going to die.. but then it passed and I realized it was pretty sweet, you know after I inhaled a ton of chalk..
Anyway we left all colorful just like everyone else, but then we went out to eat all the way in American Fork and down there people thought we were insane. It was sweet!

It was so much fun! We were all colorful:)

I totally took this picture my self because everyone kept telling me my hair looked sweet with all the color in it.. haha I think it did look pretty sweet.
By the way after 2 washes the nice blonde highlights have decided to be stained yellow from the chalk.. not all of them.. but still it is clearly yellow. haha hope it comes out soon! and I guess I'll be thankful it wasn't purple chalk that stuck:)

Dear American Idol,

I just love watching your show. Honest, its one of my favorite things to do some days.
However, I dislike it very much when you put on an hour show to kick off one person and drag it out for the whole hour. And not to mention add close to seven million commercials in between. Get to the point!
Except I do like it when you bring interesting people in to sing.. makes it slightly better. As much as I surprise myself saying this, I actually kinda liked Miley.. Maybe just because I am currently LOVING that song she sang..?
Just letting you know, because I care.

American Idol Fan

As much as I hate to admit it...

New Moon is a pretty great movie. Im a big fan of the books.. really who isnt though? Well let me just clarify Im not the crazy fan that thinks that Edward Cullen is a real person or that Jacob Black will someday find me and we will fall in love.. I think of myself as the normal kind of fan. The crazy kind give the rest of us a bad name.... I just think its a cute story, and I like to read/watch the vampire/werewolf story.
Anyway back to the point of my post, I went to walmart today and to my surprise I saw that New Moon was on DVD.. I was pretty excited because I didnt know that it was out yet! Of course I bought it, and of course Im watching it right now.. as I type. But once I got to the part where Jacob took his shirt off and I couldnt take my eyes of the screen for anything!
Then I remembered when I went to see it in the theaters and this lady in front of us said, and I quote, "oh crap! Im a pedophile!" It was HILARIOUS!
So now every time I stare at the incredibly hot Taylor Lautner I feel the same way!

Today I was at work when my boss came in and told me that he bought me a present.. it was a wasp catcher! yeah I don't know what its called, but you get it right? The wasp smells some appealing wasp smell, and flies right into it..
Can I just tell you that I was pretty pumped.
Once I came in to work with curly hair and the stupid wasp flew right into my hair.. RIGHT INTO MY HAIR. I must say I had a small breakdown and started jumping up and down screaming, shaking my head like a crazy person. It was even worse since my hair was curly.. got all tangled up in there. LUCKILY there was no one there to see my melt down. Finally the stupid thing fell out and I trapped it.
Another time it landed on me.. needless to say I had another melt down.
Scary times!
But friends those days are over.. thanks to the wasp catcher!
And I never thought I would be able to write this much about a little box that catches wasps.

Today, Wyatt Lloyd and Shalice Neil got married!! It was an absolutely beautiful wedding! They got married in the Draper Temple, and had a great luncheon and reception at Le Chateau in Provo. They are so dang perfect for each other! I have a few pictures.. MORE TO COME:)

Sick.. Still freaking sick!!

I am not one to get sick.. mostly because I work with kids everyday, and have for the last 3 years. That makes it so I dont get so sick. But this stupid illness has been following me for the past FIVE days! Kill me now.. please!
But let me just tell you that Shalice and Wy get married on Friday so this week is going to be crazy! So this sickness better leave.. and soon!!
Also Nick Fullmer gets home from the Puebla Mexico Mission TOMORROW! Im super excited to see him!

Super Bowl Sunday!!

Well the Super Bowl Finally came.. and went. But it was a great day! It was also the day before Stevies birthday, so it was a Super Bowl/ Stevie Bday party day.. aka extra fun!

Couldn't we be friends?

I have a love hate relationship with my treadmill.. actually I just love to hate it.. kind of the same right? haha no. Well EVERY night before I go to sleep I set my alarm for 30 minutes earlier than I need to get up so I can run a few miles right.. well EVERY morning with out fail I push snooze. Well today when I got home from work I decided it was in my best interest to turn off House (ok thats a lie, I finished House before I turned off the TV) and go for a run.
3 miles down baby! Now if only I could do this in the morning before work, everyday.. Thats the goal. Im going to do it.
My treadmill misses me. We are going to change that.
Bet on it:)

Serenity Now!

Today is one of THOSE days... For all of my friends that aren't familiar with Serenity now, I cant believe we are still friends.. haha kidding.. but really you need to get out more. And by that of course I mean watch more Seinfeld. Great show.. watch it:)
Well I took this morning off to go shopping for the upcoming bridal shower Im throwing with Jaycie tomorrow for soon to be Mrs. Shalice Lloyd, EXCITING!
Let me just take a second to say that Shalice and I will practically be cousins! I know Tyler would say "YOUR NOT EVEN RELATED" But Wyatt and I ARE related. End of discussion.
Anyway at that point of my day things were going pretty good. I even spent way to much money on clothes for me... We wont go into that though.
So then I go to work, not a bad day there, but you know how people do things that make you want to hit them? I deal with those kinds of people ALL the time.
Then I come home to clean my house, let me just give you and example of how that went. I sweep the floor. Enter Kenli to (accidently) spill nerds EVERYWHERE! Yep thats about the point where I was ready to yell Serenity Now!

Seriously... Are you THAT dumb??

So I was at work today, just filling out orders, when I came accross one that had a bad exp. date on the credit card. So naturally, being the customer service person, I decide to give him a call so we could get it figured out so his order wouldnt be delayed.
Let me just tell you I was in shock durring this phone call.. Friends, this really happened. Bless his heart.
me: The expiration date for the card you gave us isnt working. Would you check your card to see if its the right one so we can get started on your rush order?
him: ... repeats his entire card number...
me: ok and whats the expiration on that?
him: 5/06
me: the year on your card is 2006?
him: no 2007
me: Ok... well that date wont work, do you have a different card?
him: hold on... (he is annoyed with me at this point.. yes HE is annoyed with ME!!) .. June
me: Does it expire this June?
him: No, August


What the heck?!! That was such a simple question, but it somehow worked out to be a 10 minute phone call. The best part, it could have all been solved by one quick glance at the actual card. Thank you sir, what a fantastic waste of my day:)

To top it off he wanted his order shiped, AND delivered by monday. WTH? Has anyone ever seen a shipping service that takes the package and deliveres is accross the country in the same day? Yep he lived accross the country. WINNER!

STOMP!!

This year for Christmas, I got 2 tickets to Stomp! I have seen it twice before in NYC but its so amazing, I was pumped when I got them. I asked Shalice if she wanted to go with me, of course she did:) who would pass up Stomp!? Well our seats were sweet, to say the least. It was a blast, they put on a great show! If ya'll ever have a chance to see it, I HIGHLY recommend you do!

Sometimes Kenli says things that cracks me up. Let me give you and example. The other day we were in the car and I asked her what her favorite song was, so we could listen to it.. what does she say? My favorite song is vacuum up the dance floor. HAHA she kills me. Obviously she meant evacuate the dance floor.
Then we were just sitting here watching some American Idol.. Hello best show ever, and a subway commercial comes on and you all know there song. So Keni breaks out in song singing "5 dollar football"

1 big box = hours of fun

Who would have guessed that this box would have provided hours of entertainment for a certian 3 year old? Well I guess anyone with a 3 year old would... But anyway I guess I cant just leave it with only the 3 year old being entertained, she may have asked me to come in, and I couldnt resist. :)

Yes yes, its true, that is me inside that box with Keni, Im a push over when it comes to that girl.
It was a pretty fun day. Kenli LOVES getting her picture taken, so we took about 50 more of these.. good times.
